Emerald Locums are currently recruiting a Physiotherapist for an acute hospital based in Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a varied inpatient caseload.
This role is based within a hospital setting, offering exposure to a broad range of clinical areas. The position provides a flexible contract with the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a well-established service.

- Weekly earnings of €1,600 – €1,800 (before tax)

Duties
- Provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients across an acute hospital setting
- Manage a varied caseload including respiratory, orthopaedic, neurological, and general medical patients
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and service standards
- Support early discharge planning and rehabilitation pathways
- Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers
Requirements
- CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
- Experience working within an acute hospital setting desirable
- Strong clinical skills across a broad inpatient caseload
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
